Brittanie attended the Steve Spurrier Ladies Football Clinic today and she had a blast. She met Steve Spurrier, held a conversation with Steve Spurrier's son, and threw the football with Tommy Beecher, the Gamecock starting quarterback for the 2008 season. She learned alot and Steve Spurrier's son gave her some tips on improving her spiral. She loved it and is looking forward to going again next year. She says it was well worth the money ($54). She said it would have been better had there been less "old ladies" in there. lol She was the youngest one there. She is ready for intramural football to start! Here are some pictures that she took today.

That's Tommy Beecher (above). Unfortunately, the stupid reporters were let in and even though the ladies paid good money to see the players, Tommy was tied up with those reporters and didn't have much time to talk with the ladies. Next year, they need to keep the reporters out or at least not allow them to interview the players until it is all over.

Brittanie had a great day. They were allowed to run from the tunnel through the smoke and onto the field while 2001 was playing over the speakers. She said that was awesome. One thing she thought was weird was that there was a weird looking girl there that bore a striking resemblance to one of Tom's coworkers but all of his coworkers are guys so it couldn't have been....or could it? LOL

Thanks for the great pictures. My wife and I live in Auburn, but she traveled to Columbia to go to the camp with her sister, who lives in Lexington. I don't know if she will have taken pictures or not. Glad you had a good time.
Frank wants to know if they gave her a tour of Richland County Detention Center since most of the team spends all their time there

That must have been Ken in his Gamecock cheerleader outfit.
