Today's update

First off, Brittanie got her school pictures back today and they are GREAT!!! It is the best school picture she has taken since she started school in K4. My scanner is broken so I had to take a picture of her picture but here it is.

The next update is about Katie. She was crying yesterday that her ears were hurting. So I took her to her ENT today and he said there wasn't even any redness but it could be that fluid it settling in her ear canals or on the ear drum itself causing pain because the tube is out on one side. So he has scheduled her for surgery on the 27th of September to put the tube back in the left ear and replace the tube that is still in the right ear. I picked that date because Katie doesn't have school from the 27th to the 29th. So she will have plenty of time to recover without missing school. With the winter coming up, I don't want to chance her having 100 ear infections.

Brittanie worked again today and had a good time. She really likes her new job. She was extra happy when she realized that she would be making about $100 a week. That would mean after paying us the $200 for her car insurance each month, she would still have $200 left.

Anyway, that's the update today. Please pray for Katie as she goes through the surgery, as well as Brittanie that she will be able to keep up with her grades now that she has this new job. She is doing great right now. 3 A's and a B in Chemistry and this is her hard semester. I'm really proud of her.
