A couple of weeks ago, I posted about my childhood friend, Theresa's, daughter, Brittany, getting in a 4-wheeler accident. Well Brittany is now paralyzed from the neck down. She is going to be getting treatment out of state. Theresa is a single mom of 3 and is going to have to leave her job to be there for Brittany through this. Obviously this is going to be very difficult financially on them, as well as emotionally. Theresa's friends and family are organizing a Po-boy benefit (and for you non-Louisiana residents, that's a sub sandwich) at the end of September to help them.
So if you are anywhere near Krotz Springs on September 29th, please go by the Valero Recreational Club from 11am to 1pm and buy some po-boys. Those of you who aren't near Krotz Springs, I urge you to still help out. Please join me in sending them a donation. Every dollar counts!

They are circulating a flyer to let people know how they can help. I uploaded it for everyone to see. It has a picture of Brittany on it. It is a pdf file. Just imagine if this was your daughter and the circumstances you are in and please do unto others what you would want them to do for you! Don't forget to keep praying!!
