Tom took Katie to the state fair yesterday. She was so excited to go that her little mouth was going 100 miles an hour. They passed by the University of South Carolina Gamecock stadium and Katie said "Look daddy! A gamecock like on mama's myspace!" She will be a CSI investigator one day. This kid is so observant and listens to every word we say!
She had a blast at the fair but after 3 hours, she was ready to go home. She is like Tom and I, she HATES crowds and it was pretty crowded. She also has my patience....or lack of. So she was frustrated with having to wait in line. There were some rides, like the spider, where you get loaded on the ride, then you have to wait while other they load up the other riders. Well Katie didn't like waiting while they loaded the other riders and would ask Tom to get off before the ride even started because she was tired of waiting. Sounds like me. hehehe
She loved the animals. She wanted to put her finger in the geese pen. Tom told her those geese will bite her finger off. She told me last night she still wanted to do it because it wouldn't hurt. Little Tom isn't afraid of anything.
